Welcome to Our Board

We're delighted to welcome Dr. Meredith Tennis to our board of directors. Meredith is a lung cancer scientist and educator at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. As a scientist, she explores new ideas about how lung cancer develops and tests medicines for lung cancer prevention. As an educator, she teaches graduate and medical students and develops educational outreach programs in biomedical science for middle and high school students and secondary school science teachers. Meredith first encountered CRI when her son was part of the mentoring program, then she later mentored a student through the program, and finally joined the CRI Board of Directors in 2025.
