Jeremiah first volunteered with CRI as an academic mentor, science fair judge and family night events in 2011. He joined the CRI Board of Directors in 2013.

Michael Cookson
Vice President Board of Directors
Michael first became involved with CRI as a science mentor in 2013 and joined the Board in 2018. He is currently a pediatric resident physician at Children’s Hospital Colorado. He received his Bachelor's from CU-Boulder, his MHS from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health followed by medical school at CU School of Medicine. Outside the hospital, Michael and his wife, Katelyn, both long time Colorado residents, love to hike, camp, and ski anywhere they can in the mountains with their puppy, Mendel.

Lora A. Wilson
Secretary
Lora received her PhD from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from the Molecular Biology Program and subsequently studied non-small cell lung cancer, NSCLC, and developed novel molecular based therapies for pancreatic cancer as part of the Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Wynn Gandera taught various sciences in Cherry Creek middle and high schools after a career as a petroleum geologist. In addition, she developed and taught three online programs for the Cherry Creek School District.

Ann first volunteered with CRI supporting Family Night events. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2016 after retiring as the Associate Regional Solicitor for the U.S. Department of Labor.

Michael Mattice
Mike Mattice is married with two sons that have both graduated from Colorado Universities. In addition to being a CRI mentor and past Board Vice President, he designs trails and leads construction crews for Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado. Every 4 years he chairs an undergraduate robot competition for IEEE Region 5. Mike also volunteers as a co-instructor for the National Alliance on Mental Illness - Aurora. He is employed by Crosstek Solutions, LLC, as Director of Special Programs. Mike received his Ph.D. from SUNY Stony Brook in Mechanical Engineering, his MSEE from NYU and his BSEE from Michigan Technological University. His hobbies are mountain biking, racquetball and restoring cars.

Godwin first became involved with CRI in 2015 when he volunteered as a mentor focusing on Computer Science. He lives in the Denver metro area and currently works as a Senior Solutions Manager for Amazon Web Services. Godwin received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Illinois.

Pablo Monroy
Pablo Monroy first volunteered for CRI's Academic Mentors program in 2020 sharing his expertise as an Architect. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, he received his Architecture degree as well as a Fine Arts degree from the Rhode Island School of Design. After over 10 years in the construction industry, involved in building schools, healthcare and other public facilities, he currently specializes in designing educational and government projects throughout the country.

Rebecca Blessing
Rebecca Blessing is a non-profit consultant specializing in effective organizational management and program development. She's spent the last fifteen years in the nonprofit sector and is an expert in international child welfare, orphan care and adoption. She is the co-author of the chapter entitled “Systems that Protect Children: Elements of Success” in the book, The Intercountry Adoption Debate: Dialogues Across Disciplines. Rebecca holds a Masters of Non-Profit Management from Regis University. A graduate of Long Island University Global College, Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, Peace & Conflict.
